Why do you want to be a tutor?
- I think tutoring is almost more rewarding than teaching, because you get to specialize more with students and let them learn at their own pace. After all, each person has a different learning speed, and tutoring allows that in a way the classroom cant always match.
Why should a student pick you?
- I think having a tutor should be fun. Our objective is still to learn, but who says learning cant be fun?
Personal Statement:
- I love teaching. I have been a teacher for three years now, and I could never change careers. I started coaching lacrosse at a young age, and I could tell right away it was something that I loved. One thing lead to another, and after graduating from Brown University, I dove right into my career teaching. Its only been three years, but I can tell you this. I'll never look back!
